The program is directly connected to the Bachelor’s degree program in Petroleum Engineering taught at the Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, Palacký University.
Direct admission is possible for admission to the Master’s degree program – applicants who have completed a Bachelor’s degree program focused on petroleum engineering, geological engineering, mining engineering, or similar study programs focused on oil, mineral resources, and geoenergetics at any university in the Czech Republic may be admitted without entrance exams.
If the applicant does not meet the conditions for direct admission, the admission procedure will include a written test of general knowledge of petroleum geology and petroleum engineering, corresponding to the bachelor’s degree.
